Kind Hands Massage Stories and Songs Program

The Kind Hands programme is a UK-certified initiative that bridges the gap between creative play and physiological well-being for children aged 2 to 6. By weaving simple, clothed massage strokes into nursery rhymes, songs, and "Massage Stories," the program transforms nurturing touch into a powerful tool for social-emotional learning.

Unlike traditional massage, it is designed for interactive environments—promoting the release of oxytocin (the bonding hormone) and lowering cortisol (the stress hormone) to help children develop emotional resilience, improve focus, and build secure attachments with their peers, parents, and educators.

For Caregivers & Parents

For Educators (School Implementation)
The course provides a framework to integrate "clothed, child-to-child" or "teacher-to-child" massage into the school curriculum.

Key Benefits: Enhances social-emotional learning (SEL), fosters an inclusive classroom culture, and helps students with self-regulation and stress management.

Implementation: Can be used in whole-class or small-group sessions. Teachers learn to use massage during "nursery rhyme time" or storytelling to help children focus and relax.

Professional Outcomes: Educators learn to recognize emotional cues, respond to unique and complex needs, and evaluate the program’s impact on student behavior and focus.

For Parents (Family Bonding)
The program offers practical tools for parents to use at home to deepen the bond with their children.

Key Benefits: Promotes relaxation (especially before sleep), reduces anxiety by lowering cortisol, and increases the "love hormone" (oxytocin).

Fun & Play: Parents learn to weave simple massage strokes (on the back, arms, and hands) into well-loved nursery rhymes and bedtime stories.

Respect & Consent: A core part of the training is teaching children to ask for permission and giving them the right to say "no," fostering a healthy understanding of personal boundaries from a young age.
